Context for your agents
Any agent your team deploys can read this workspace's product knowledge with one key. Read-only, and only this workspace.
How it works
- 1Create a key below and choose what it may read. You see the key once — copy it straight into your agent's settings.
- 2Point the agent at Arc. Agents that speak the standard agent protocol connect to one address and discover four ready-made abilities. Anything else can make plain web requests instead — same key.
- 3Ask away. Every request is answered from your stored data, counted, and logged, and you can switch a key off at any time.
What an agent can ask for
Product areas
Every area Arc has learned, how they relate, and how healthy each one looks.
Change impact
Give it a change — files, tickets, a pull request — and it answers which areas it reaches, with the evidence.
Tests & history
Which tests cover an area, how often they pass, and what failed recently.
Documents
The exact passages from your uploaded specifications that answer a question.
Nothing here can change your data — a key only ever reads.
Connect an agent
Paste this into the agent's connector settings and replace the key with your own.
{
"mcpServers": {
"arc": {
"url": "https://your-arc-site/api/public/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_ARC_KEY" }
}
}
}Or use plain web requests
Start here to see everything the key is allowed to read:
curl https://your-arc-site/api/public/context/ \ -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_ARC_KEY"
And this asks what a change affects:
curl -X POST https://your-arc-site/api/public/context/impact \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_ARC_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{ "files": ["src/payments/transfer.ts"], "text": "limit change on transfers" }'Context for other agents
Give any agent your team deploys read access to this workspace's product knowledge — areas, what a change affects, test history and document passages. Each key can be limited and switched off at any time. Nothing here can change your data.
